God is ( ), is a piece consisting of two videos, two photographs and a sculpture. The piece was exhibited on the exhibition Bog of Gold (Mýrargull) in the Nordic house in Reykjavik.

The two videos show the reproductive organs of a man and a woman respectively as puppets. The female one is stating that God is s woman while the male one states that God is. The videos are both 2 minutes long and were played on a loop – opposite to each other.

In the middle of the space, on top of a pile of mud was a half­-eaten apple standing in a jar full of formalin which preserves its condition. Above it is a leaking soap container – the soap leaks slowly over the jar. In the pile of mud is also a bottle of cola, filled with water from a bog.

The photographs are of mummies of each sex making famous hand signals of two German politicians.

Guð er ( ) samanstendur af tveimur myndböndum, tveimur ljósmyndum og skúlptúr. Verkið var sýn á samsýningunni Mýrargull í Norræna Húsinu í Reykjavík.

Myndböndin tvö sýna kynfæri konu og karls í brúðhlutverkum (með augu og látin tala). Píkan segir Guð er kona á meðan tippið segir Guð er. Bæði myndböndin er um 2 mínútur að lengd en spiluð í lúppu – og stillt gengt hvor öðru.

Í miðju rýmisins, ofaná hrúgu af mold var hálf étið epli í krukku fullri af formalíni. Fyrir ofan var brúsi með fljótandi sápu sem lak hægt niður á epla krukkuna. Neðst í hrúgunni stóð kókflaska með mýrarvatni í.

Á ljósmyndunum voru tvær múmíur, karl- og kvenkyns, sem mynduðu handamerki sem eru einkennandi fyrir tvo þýska samtíma stjórnmálamenn.
